So, who deserves a coveted blazer if the season were to end right now?

Changes from Round 14
INS: He's been hard to ignore for too long, so Kysaiah Pickett comes into the side after yet another masterful display of 25 disposals and three goals. He's averaging 19 touches and 2.3 goals per game, the most disposals per game while kicking at least two goals per game since Jarryd Roughead in 2025. Power forward Mitch Georgiades also makes his debut for the year after a strong showing against the Blues. He now equal-third on the Coleman Medal tally with the man he replaces - controversy?
OUTS: A pair of Bens, and a pair of Suns make way this week. Harsh? Very possibly, but Ben Long and Ben King drop out of a ferociously competitive AA forward line. King just isn't offering enough further up the field, and Georgiades is a little more mobile. Long can be classed as stiff, but he's been replaced by one of the more dynamic and exciting players in the league.
In the mix, and those on notice
There are a few players right on the cusp of selection, but unfortunately 25, 28, or 30 doesn't go into 22! Ones to keep an eye on in the backline include Crows stopper Josh Worrell, as well as Port skipper Connor Rozee and Freo's Jordan Clark. Sam Taylor is hanging on by a thread given his injury status, and Jacob Weitering is clearly hampered by his ankle.
There's also a bunch of midfielders who are around the mark for selection, including Bulldogs skipper Marcus Bontempelli, Zak Butters, Miles Bergman, hard-working Sun Touk Miller, while coming off the bye, keep an eye on Zach Merrett. In the forward line, Isaac Heeney is coming with a bullet, and Jack Higgins needs to lift. The ruck situation remains ever fascinating as well, with North Melbourne's Tristan Xerri, Collingwood's Darcy Cameron and Freo's Luke Jackson all in the mix to dethrone Max Gawn.
