Beau Greaves missed match darts for the chance to claim the scalp of Michael van Gerwen at the Grand Slam of Darts.
The 21-year-old from Doncaster had three darts to take out 52 in the deciding leg and claim her second big win in a couple of weeks, having beaten Luke Littler on her way to the World Youth Championship final.
But she could not take it out and van Gerwen swept in to take a 5-4 win in their Group G clash.

As both players started solidly, holding their own throw to get to 2-2, van Gerwen took a pivotal lead with a break in the fifth.
He then won the next two legs to leave himself with a 4-2 lead, only to risk imploding in dramatic fashion.
Greaves held throw and then broke back in the 8th, hitting back-to-back 180s in contrast to a pair of treble-less visits in the set from the Dutchman.
In the final leg decider, Greaves held the darts but missed her opportunity to punish the world No. 3 for a missed 32 checkout.
The Dutchman didn't need a third opportunity, cashing in to end a nervy, thrilling affair in Wolverhampton.
