Despite the entertaining 4-4 draw between Porto and Al Ahly, neither team were able to qualify, as Palmeiras' 2-2 draw against Inter Miami sees the Brazilian side qualify as group winners and the MLS side through as runners-up.
Palmeiras will now have an all-Brazilian round-of-16 affair against Botafogo in Philadelphia on June 28, while Miami will take on PSG in Atlanta on June 29.
