Thibaut Courtois has agreed a new contract at Real Madrid which runs until June 2027, sources have told ESPN.
The goalkeeper's previous deal had been due to expire next summer.
Courtois, 33, joined Madrid in 2018 and has since reinforced his status as one of the world's most reliable goalkeepers, winning two Champions League trophies and three LaLiga titles at the Santiago Bernabéu.
Madrid's club policy tends to be to extend the contracts of players over the age of 30 on a year-by-year basis. In Courtois' case, they have moved early to secure his future for the next two seasons, reflecting his importance in the team.
Most recently, Courtois starred for Madrid at the Club World Cup, making a flying, crucial added-time save to secure their 3-2 win over Borussia Dortmund in the quarterfinals.
"We're lucky to have Thibaut as our goalkeeper," coach Xabi Alonso said. "He's one of those goalkeepers who wins you games."

Madrid are looking to rebuild the team under Alonso this summer after a disappointing 2024-25 season, signing Trent Alexander-Arnold, Dean Huijsen, Álvaro Carreras and Franco Mastantuono.
Courtois began his career with Genk in Belgium, before signing for Chelsea in 2011. He spent three years on loan at Atlético Madrid before four seasons at Stamford Bridge, and then joined Real Madrid in 2018.
A falling out with then Belgium coach Domenico Tedesco caused him to temporarily quit international football in 2024, before returning to the national team this year.
