Sunday's action in the Premier League gave us plenty of taking points -- the main one being that Manchester United still look as bad as they looked last season.
After Bruno Fernandes missed a first-half penalty, Man United failed to bounce back at Fulham on Sunday, settling for a 1-1 draw. Leny Yoro did give United the lead in the second half, only for it to be canceled out shortly thereafter. It was originally credited as a goal by Fulham's Emile Smith Rowe, but later changed to an own goal from Rodrigo Muniz.
So, Man United really haven't figured out how to start getting out of their own way, huh?
Earlier in the day, Everton beat Brighton 2-0 in the first league fixture at their new Hill Dickinson Stadium with goals from Iliman Ndiaye and James Garner.
Also, Crystal Palace drew 1-1 with Nottingham Forest, who took Palace's Europa League place after the London club were demoted for breaking multiclub ownership rules.
