The Los Angeles Dodgers opened the 2024 season as favorites to win the World Series and, after defeating the New York Yankees in five games, they indeed celebrated a championship.
According to ESPN BET, the Dodgers remain the favorite to win the World Series again in 2025. After opening as +400 favorites to repeat, they currently sit at +350 as we move into the final weeks of August.
The Seattle Mariners remain in the role as AL favorites at +900, ahead of the Toronto Blue Jays 10 -1. In the NL, the Milwaukee Brewers (fresh off a 14-game winning streak), have climbed to third in the NL to win the World Series at +750, behind only the Dodgers and the Philadelphia Phillies, who check in at +600.
